Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh---Do you remember this lovely bear? Do you want to know some of Winnie's philosophy of life?
The real world is complicated, makes us exhausted body and mind, let's temporarily put in the fairy tale and to enjoy a quiet and flawless.
If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.
If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever.
Promise me you'll never forget me because if I thought you would I'd never leave.
If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together...there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most
important thing is, even if we're apart...I'll always be with you.
You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.
If the person you are talking to doesn't appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear.
A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference.
Just because an animal is large, it doesn't mean he doesn't want kindness; however big Tigger seems to be, remember that he wants as much kindness as
Roo.
Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.
Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering.
When late morning rolls around and you're feeling a bit out of sorts, don't worry; you're probably just a little eleven o'clockish.
To the uneducated, an A is just three sticks.
You can't help respecting anybody who can spell TUESDAY, even if he doesn't spell it right; but spelling isn't everything. There are days when spelling Tuesday simply doesn't count.
Before beginning a hunt, it is wise to ask someone what you are looking for before you begin looking for it.
I used to believe in forever, but "forever" is too good to be true.

Is there a saying:----You cannot stay in your corner of the forest waiting for opportunity to find you. You have to go to them sometimes.

Peopel tend to ignore others, selfish, or self-centered, so "A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference." a good saying

Casey, one of my dogs, sometimes needs to go outside during the night, and he wakes me. I look at the computer while he is out. The last time I saw Winnie the Pooh posted by Sally. It brought a smile to my face and heart. We have always loved Winnie.
I read the line: ”If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.”
Martha and I have been together over 55 years – more that twice the time we have not been together! Neither of us can really remember well the times we have been alone. We function almost like one person. We know what the other thinks on most things without discussion (although we still discuss them).
So, that line has a special meaning because Martha and I have talked about this exact situation and what will happen in different cases. We are getting old and are thinking about our future. What will we do when one of us dies. If one of us dies one day sooner then the other, they avoid the pain of the void. If you die one day later than the other, the partner avoids the pain. We have decided that the best course is to die within a minute of each other, and to be unconscious during that minute.

"You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes."
THIS MAY BE THE ANSWER TO CHAT GROUPS THAT GROW SILENT.

Sally, you asked "Is there a saying:----You cannot stay in your corner of the forest waiting for opportunity to find you. You have to go to them sometimes."
I do not know of one. I think at least in America there is not such a saying.
Martha (Tuesday, 14 September 2010 08:47)
We do have a saying: "When opportunity knocks, answer the door."
Sally_Panda (Tuesday, 14 September 2010 20:37)
Wow! huge thanks Roger and Martha.

So much thanks for sharing! >0< I'm much keen on much "When opportunity knocks, answer the door."
"If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you. " I can recall the words Roger had ever said----Martha and I have been together for 54 years and we are planning to live another 54 years. So romantic!

When I read Roger's words, I am shaken. Some of people around
me got married and then divorced, and some of them including
me is still looking for love and even doubt if there is true
love. But now I know there is, but I donnot know how about me.
Where is my Mr right?
